From flooding to bitter cold - our world barely defrosted at all yesterday, as the shortest day was two days ago, so not enough sunshine hours after a heavy frost. Perfect weather for blazing fires, hot soups, and experimental desserts.
Breakfast: Buckwheat Granola and milk. I really must make up some other granolas again. Lunch: Too busy to think much about eating - a fast salad of left over salad from Sunday's dinner, with some cottage cheese, 1/2 and avocado and a tomato added, plus Honey Mustard Dressing. Meanwhile my youngest wanted some pumpkin soup, so she made up a big batch of Baked Pumpkin Soup, which will provide lunches for the next few days. Exercise: None - oops! Meant to go once the air warmed up a bit, but never got to it.
How I feel: Felt tired in the evening, so went to bed a bit earlier than usual. Slept pretty well. Feels like my body is ready and willing to do some catch-up sleeping! Just need to get to bed earlier in the evenings and allow that.
