Unexpectedly caring for a 2 yo today meant I didn't go grocery shopping and didn't get my walk in. Turns out potatoes with dinner was a bad idea too.....
Breakfast: Buckwheat Granola and milk. Lunch: A 3-Egg Omelette, which I shared with Miss 2, and a salad of Mesclun leaves, avocado, tomato & Honey Mustard Dressing. Snacks: One small orange - the only one produced by my baby orange tree this year, and so I had to eat it. :-) It was delicious! Dinner: Simply roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, Luscious Leeks and some carrot sticks. Haven't been shopping yet, so vege choices limited now. |
Exercise: Due to the early arrive of the Midget, and her being here until after dark, I didn't get a chance to go for a walk, and I had no time for anything else.
How I feel: All good during the day. Slept really poorly - I'm putting it down to the spuds with dinner, and how that must affect my blood sugar, which seems to have a flow-on effect to my slept. Felt hunger in the small hours, which I don't do unless I eat something that swings my blood sugar.
