Grocery shopping day - I go once every two weeks to a town 45 mins away, so I need to be organised.
Breakfast: bacon and eggs Lunch: I didn't eat lunch until 3pm when I got back from grocery shopping. Then I had a salad, a chicken leg left over from a couple of nights earlier, and a small piece of Chocolate Cake my daughter had experimentally baked while I was out, with some natural yoghurt. Snacks: none Dinner: turned out all the kids were out for one reason or another. I had bought some nice garlic and chives sausages from the Mad Butcher, and my husband mentioned chips from the takeaways, so I had sausages, a small amount of chips, and some salad, and a teaspoon full of the Garden Tomato Sauce I had made from home-grown ingredients. (I love to garden, and have another blog about our homestead - www.KiwiUrbanHomestead.com). It wasn't until my husband went up the road for the chips that it occurred to me that they were potatoes (Duh!) and would affect my sleep. Ah well. |
Exercise: None, except walking all around all the stores in town.
How I feel: Felt fine all day. Under the circumstances, I decided to take 1/2 a sleeping pill at night as I really needed to sleep. Among the other small improvements in health, I've noticed that the stubborn wart on my finger has suddenly shrunk and is now almost completely gone. Co-incidence?
